    CHALLENGE COINS:

  • We can offer rush production during certain times of the year for an extra charge. Our customer care team can answer any questions regarding rush options and availability. Rush Delivery is not available to APO/FPO addresses.

We do offer shipping to APO / FPO addresses at no extra charge to our service men and women. Please keep in mind that shipping to an APO / FPO address will add 1-3 weeks to the order production and shipping timelines.

We will keep your mold in stock for 3 years. If you need more coins we can easily remake them for you with no added mold fee.

Once an order is sent to production the standard production and delivery turnaround time is 3 – 3.5 weeks. Our customer care team will advise you of specific timelines based on your custom order prior to order completion.

This will depend on the size and design of the coin. Roughly speaking, 1.5” coins are about 1-1.1oz., 1.75” are about 1.5-1.65oz., and 2.0” are about 1.95-2.15oz.

We have worked with 1000’s of clients and make the process EASY from start to finish, fast, and pain free.

The 1st step is to submit your coin design ideas and details through our website here or by contacting our customer care team.
We’ll provide you an initial estimate and coin design proof within 24 hours of your submission.
If needed, we offer free revisions until we get the design exactly how you envisioned it.
Lastly, once you approve your final proof and complete the final invoice payment we will send your project to production.

The majority of our coins are die struck into brass. Large, custom shaped, or designs with large cutout areas will be cast from a zinc alloy.

The most common coin size is 1.75”, followed by 2” and then 1.5”. If we have concerns about your selection our team will let you know the optimal size of your coin based on your design.

Die struck coins have the designs transferred to a front & back mold, the raw brass being struck by each mold with enough force to transfer both the raised & recessed areas of the design into the brass. Die Cast molds are fit together and molten zinc metal is injected into the die to create the coin blank.

Simply put, Soft Enamel are textured, with the enamel filled below the metal ridges, while Hard Enamel are smooth, the overfilled enamel polished smooth against the metal. You can have one side of your coin be soft enamel and the other side be hard enamel.

The minimum coin order quantity is 25. You can order any quantity as long as it meets our minimum. There are various price point breaks based on quantity that provide some great savings.

  • FIESTA MEDALS:

  • We can offer rush production during certain times of the year for an extra charge. Our customer care team can answer any questions regarding rush options and availability.

Our standard production will vary by medal style, but is typically within 3-4 weeks turn time. Due to the timing of Fiesta, Chinese New Year may affect your delivery date. Orders placed a month before Chinese new year won’t have delays, but those placed right before, during, or after should expect a 4-6 week turnaround. Our customer care team will let you know of order deadlines and expected delivery dates upon your quote submission.

A textured finish will only be found on Soft Enamel Medals. The enamel color is filled just below the metal ridges of the die struck medal.
A Smooth finish could be one of THREE medal types:
Soft Enamel with epoxy – This is the most common, and just a matter of preference. We can add clear epoxy to any soft enamel design for just 5 cents per medal. The epoxy fills the gap between the recessed enamel and the raised metal ridges, creating a smooth finish.
Printed Medals – Commonly created for customers wanting to replicate a digital image or a logo with gradients, or customers with a tight budget given the lower production cost, Printed Medals are printed on sheet iron and covered with the same clear epoxy to protect the printed surface.
Hard Enamel Medals – These are made like Soft Enamel but the enamel is overfilled and then grinded smooth with the metal. The added processing adds cost & time to production, but hard enamel medals are considered the ‘premium quality medal’.

We have worked to make the process easy, fast, and pain free from start to finish

Most Medals are made from Iron, whether they are die struck & enamel filled or offset printed. Medals that are 2.25”+, that have cutouts, or are 3D in nature are made out of zinc.

The most commonly ordered size is 2.0”, followed by 1.75”, 2.25”, and 1.5”, but we’ve done as large as 5.0” in the past. The larger medals allow for more detail and more vibrant color.
The most serious medal collectors are always in search of larger medals, every year there is a contest and the collector with the highest weight of medals (must have current festival year on medal) wins!

The minimum order quantity is 25 medals, however considerable price drops often make 50 or 100 medals more economical.
